Syarhei Parsyukevіch appeals court decision

An entrepreneur Syarhei Parsyukevich sent a complain about the court decision according to which he was returned guilty of having beaten a policeman and sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment on April 28. A lawyer Vera Stramkouskaya described the arguments that could lead to the abolishment of the decision in an interview with Radio “Liberty”. Firstly, the court took into account only the evidence of witnesses for the prosecution. Bodily injuries Syarhei Parsuikevich had received were not taken into account either. Witnesses for the prosecution kept confusing their statements and there were a lot of contradictions.

Syarhei Parsuikevich was sent to a prison cell without any windows the other day. The prisoner has trouble breathing there and his asthma has become aggravated.
