At least 1,984 NGOs have been liquidated in Belarus since 2020

At least 1,984 Belarusian public associations, institutions, associations or foundations have been liquidated or are in the process of liquidation since 2020, according to Lawtrend.
Currently, no fewer than five representatives of human rights organizations are behind bars, along with dozens of representatives of civil society and religious organizations, and 20 representatives of trade unions and the labor movement.
