About us

Euroradio is an independent cross-platform media for Belarus and about Belarus. We have been working since 2006, and every day, 24/7, we follow the following principles and values:

1.  Independence. Euroradio's editorial policy is determined only by the editorial office; political forces, governments, and businesses do not influence it. 

2.  Honesty. Euroradio’s primary goal is to empower Belarusians with truthful information about what is happening in Belarus and the world. We follow journalistic standards, verify information, check facts, debunk state propaganda fakes, and strive to provide the audience with objective information. By doing so, we contribute to developing critical thinking and media literacy among our readers, listeners, and viewers, making them an integral part of our mission.

3.  National identity. An important part of Euroradio's work is to preserve and strengthen Belarusians' self-determination, expand the use of the national language, and improve knowledge of Belarusian culture and history.

4.  Democracy and human rights. We see the Belarus of the future as a democratic country with stable institutions, open dialogue in society, and competition of ideas, where everyone has opportunities for self-development and self-realization.

5.  Tolerance and openness. Euroradio is against the use of hate speech against any vulnerable groups (migrants, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, etc.), discrimination, and social stigmatization, both as a media outlet and as an employer. We are committed to the ideal of gender equality and strive for it in the editorial office and in how we cover certain topics. 

Who finances Euroradio?

Euroradio is not part of any country's state media sector. We are a multi-donor organization that receives support from various partners from different countries and continents. Regardless of the amount of support, none of the donors can interfere with our editorial policy.

For security reasons, we cannot provide a complete list of partners, but some logos are visible at the bottom of our website.
