Speak the Truth! offices raided without search warrant
Law-enforcement agents are searching the office of Speak the Truth! campaign. They have not displayed a search warrant and failed to justify the raid.
They have not presented their IDs, campaign worker Ihar Simbirou told Euroradio.
Ihar Simbirou: “They have produced no official document. A woman in uniform is now drawing up charges. Initially, I was handcuffed, because I demanded to show IDs. They never explained what they were doing here. It is impossible to find out, because they are keeping silent”.
Ihar says the officers brought along several witnesses and are now drawing up some papers. They have not removed the equipment yet. He does not rule out they could have brought anything in by now.
