Putin would like to develop Belarusian-Russian cooperation regardless of business climate

Vladimir Putin mentioned the importance of developing Russian-Belarusian cooperation regardless of the business climate. The Russian Prime Minister claimed it during a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Moscow on October 15. Accoridng to RIA “Novosti”, the Russian Prime Minister stressed that Russia and Belarus were trying to overcome the consequences of the global crisis gradually and were heading for a steady development. This is a result of close coordination of the two states in 2008-2010 and of the work in the joint Plan of crisis consequences minimization, thinks Putin.

By the way, according to BelTA, the meeting was rather short: 32 issues on the agenda were discussed and approved in half an hour.
