Anzhalika Borys and Ihar Bantsar, the leaders of the unregistered Union of Poles, hav been restricted from leaving the country. They were penalized with a fine and entered into a travel-ban list for allegedly violating the border region rules. Anzhalika Borys said:

"I and editor Ihar Bantsra received a fine of $250 each. The police also told us that we had been entered into the computer data base. We are banned from leaving Belarus until we pay the fine. We covered the fine on Friday, but they told us we had to wait for four days to be removed from the database.
