Minsk authorities promise to liquidate home LANs till July
All illegal home LAN’s are planned to be liquidated in Minsk till July 2008. The chief engineer of “Minsk TV and information networks” Uladzimir Brataus informed about it in his interview with BelaPAN.
According to a complex plan, work groups will have to find out the names and addresses of administrators of home LAN’s till April 1, 2008 and track the equipment – computers, routers, etc. till May 1.
Administrators of networks will be asked to dismantle the equipment. However, work groups will have the right to order electricians to cut off cables and draw up administrative protocols to send them to district commissions.
