Belarusian state "Międzynarodowe Radio Białoruś" is trying to scare Poles with a “Romanian scenario,” suggesting that it is not the citizens of Poland who elect the president, but rather the elites and Brussels.

On the accounts of "Międzynarodowe Radio Białoruś", which has already been accused of attempting to interfere in the Polish elections, there have recently been many videos about an “elite conspiracy,” “lack of choice,” and similar themes.

At the same time, the radio brags about having a large audience, but this is fake: with allegedly 17,000 subscribers on YouTube, one of the videos received only 140 views in 24 hours. This indicates subscriber fraud for the sake of reporting and securing the large sums of money this project receives from the state budget.

Moreover, the radio was originally created to inform Poles about the situation in Belarus. But even here, Lukashenko’s propagandists decided to go further and try to influence public opinion in a neighboring country.

Międzynarodowe Radio Białoruś is part of the state-owned National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus (Belteleradiocompany), which is serving as a tool of Alexander Lukashenka’s authoritarian regime. The channel broadcasts in several foreign languages, including Polish, and has been increasingly used as a vehicle for anti-Western propaganda.
