KGB looks for money in apartment of activist from Bialynichy

The KGB officers have searched the apartment of Mikalaj Miatselitsa, an activist from Bialynichy. The search lasted for more than an hour. According to the activist, the KGB officers came to his work to take him home. They said that if he refused to go with them, they would use physical force, informs Radio Liberty. The search was conducted in the framework of investigation of the criminal case of the mass disturbances in Minsk on December 19-20 .

They confiscated a computer's system unit, 5 USB-drives. They looked through Nyaklyaeu's agitation materials and his books for a long time but decided to leave all this. The search warrant said there should have been a big amount of money in the activist's apartment.

Mikalaj Miatselitsa was a member of Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu's initiative group during the electoral campaign. He organized and conducted the candidate's agitation events in Bialynichy, and collected signatures for him.
