Festive events start near “Minsk – hero city” stele
The City Day started with a festive ceremony of laying flowers on the monument to those who perished in the Great Patriotic War in Minsk on Saturday. Representatives of Minsk authorities, veterans, inhabitants and visitors of Minsk gathered near the stele “Minsk – hero city”. Foreign delegations that had arrived in the Belarusian capital from sister cities also attended the ceremony, reports the First TV channel.
