Deputy Minister of Education: Belarus has lost 52 schools for a year
52 schools will not open their doors in the new academic year. It is connected with decrease of the number of pupils, informed the Deputy Minister of Education Kazimir Faryno.
Faryno: "Each year we lose from 50 to 100 schools. This year local executive committees took the decision to close 52 educationsl establishments - 18 primary schools, 22 base schools and 4 secondary schools. This is our demographic situation.".
According to the official, the number of schoolchidren in Belarus decreases by 30 thousand people per year.
