Candidate Dzmitry Us sends open appeal to Lukashenka (photo)
A presidential candidate Dzmitry Us has sent an open appeal to the President’s Administration. He suggests adopting an amendment to the Election Code as soon as possible. It should look like this: “Each presidential contender has the right to send their representatives to district election committees and they should be empowered to count voting papers and to sign the report about the calculation of ballot-papers”.
"One of the most important terms of conducting a democratic election today is adding the amendment to the Election Code. Everyone is interested in promoting it. If Alyaksandr Lukashenka is interested in conducting a democratic election, he should make a positive decision”, - thinks Dzmitry Us.
He has also informed that Minsk Frunze District Commission expressed an idea that the signatures presented by members of Us’s team were copies. According to the candidate, they have not presented a single copy but some of the lists were filled in with a black jel pen.
