Western nations help Kosovo to get independence
Western nations have officially introduced to the UN a draft resolution on the future status of Kosovo. The draft is an edited document that was disseminated on Monday among the UN Security Council members but rejected by Russia. The resolution is co-sponsored by Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, UK and the United States.
If Russia vetos this resolution again, the Western nations plan to get independence for Kosovo without the involvement of the UN Security Council.
