Ukraine to commemorate victims of Holodomor in 15 countries of the world
An international art project “Ukraine remembers - the world admits” dedicated to victims of Holodomor (the Ukrainian Famine of 1932-1933) started on April 16 and 17.
The project organized by the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and Tourism and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affaires will involve 15 countries of the world. An international route of the action began in Israel on April 16.
It includes the following events: concert performance “Requiem to victims of famine”, round-table discussions dedicated to the tragedy of Holodomor (scientists, representatives of the society and Ukrainian artistic elite will take part in them) and coverage of the actions and of Holodomor in local mass media.
Similar events will be organized in Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, Israel, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, the USA, France, Czechia and Switzerland.
