Wedding photo exhibition opens in Brest (photo)
The exhibition presents works of 5 Brest photographers from the creative association "Dream Wedding".
One of the participants - photographer Vera Yaromava - has told Euroradio about the aims and the importance of the event for the city.
Yaromava: "This exhibition has several aims. The first one is, naturally, advertising. However, we also want to show that there is a room for creativity in the wedding photo genre as well, it's not like only the classic exists. So we got together: five young photographers, and we have taken pictures for 1-2 years. We do not think of photography as just a commerce, our aim is not to get as many orders as possible and to take more pictures... We try to find an individual approach to every couple, we discuss the place, the scenario".
The exhibition is taking place at the 3rd floor of the cinema "Belarus", and will work till March 18.
