Washington Post: Tsarnaev explains Boston bombing
19-year-old Dzokhar Tsarnaev accused of terrorism is giving evidence.
He organized the Boston marathon bombing together with his brother Tamerlan (killed while shooting at the police) because they were upset by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Dzokhar Tsarnaev said.
Tsarnaev was detained on the night of April 20 in Watertown, Boston. He was injured.
Two bombs exploded during the Boston marathon within 12 seconds. 3 people died (a Chinese citizen and two Americans including an 8-year-old child), 183 were injured.
Dzokhar Tsarnaev is accused of using mass destruction weapons and deliberate property destruction which resulted in the loss of life.
