Uladzislau Kavalyou's mother does not understand refusal to pardon
Lyubou Kavalyova hardly believes that the state leader refused to pardon her son.
The host of the evening TV-show "Panorama" at the "Belarus 1" TV-Channel announced that Alyaksandr Lukashenka had refused to pardon Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou on March 14.
The mother of death convict Uladzislau Kavalyou wonders how such decision could be taken when the supervisory appeal had not been written yet.
Lyubou Kavalyova has told the BelaPAN news agency, that lawyer Snanislau Abrazei planned to meet with her son in the KGB prison on March 14. However, he wasn't allowed to see his client, having spent half of the day waiting. Kavalyova doesn't know whether he managed to see Uladzislau in the afternoon as she couldn't talk to him on the phone so far.
