Trial against Russia's citizen continues in Vitsebsk
Pyotr Ivanov, who handed out leaflets with information about Syarhej Kavalenka's hunger-strike, is standing trial for bad swearing.
He was detained back on January 6. During the first trial which took place on January 16, Ivanov admitted that he had handed out leaflets urging people for solidarity with Syarhej Kavalenka. However, the Russian totally denied that he had sworn badly, Radio Liberty informs.
Judge Ina Hrabouskaya abolished the administrative case at the first trial as the policemen-witnesses had contradicted one another in their testimonies. Now they have updated the protocol.
