"Tell the Truth!" campaign marks first anniversary on February 25
A year ago the campaign's initiators declared their aim: to show the Belarusian society the real situation in the country, where there is no room for the truth.
"Tell the Truth!" started as a civil campaign and then turned into a political, electoral one, Radio Liberty informs.
"Tell the Truth!" agitated for Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu at the presidential election.
Many "Tell the Truth!" activists were imprisoned after the election: the campaign's leader Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu was brutally beaten, Andrej Dzmitryeu and Siarhej Vazniak spent a certain time in the KGB prison, Aliaksandr Fiaduta and Paval Vinahradau are still there. Nyaklyaeu is under house arrest.
All of them are officially accused of organization of mass disturbances.
