Swans die because of frost in Brest (photo)
The rescuing ice-hole for swans and ducks is getting smaller and smaller each day.
The social blog "Sane Brest" has informed about the first victims among birds in the Mukhavets river.
These birds have enough food: they are literally enrolled with cereals, bread and even carefully prepared porridge. However, the situation is still getting close to a catastrophe.
A blogger from Brest contacted the head of the local city district inspectorate for protection of the nature reserves and the environment. The latter informed that they would discuss the situation with the head of the city administration on February 6. The nature protectors promised to take the rescuing measures together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
