"Stop-petrol" action is planned in Minsk on May 24
The participants will gather at 7 p.m. at the parking space near "Prostore" supermarket in Chyzhouka district (Ubarevich st., 176).
The participants of the action are going to protest against increase of prices for fuel. They will go along the set route and end the action at one of the parking spaces (the place is not informed beforehand).
Let us remind you, prices for fuel have been increased by 16-24% on May 24. This is the third increase this year. "Belnaftahim" increased the prices by 10% in average on March 31 for the last time.
Fuel got cheaper by about 30% because of the rouble's devaluation: АІ 92 used to be 1,07$, and became 0,78$. The initiative "For Auto" thinks that we should expect another increase of prices soon after devaluation, as "Belnaftahim" simply did not dare to increase prices by 50-60% at once.
