Statkevich’s father not allowed to meet his son
He was refused it in KGB prison. They just told him that there would be no meeting. Victar Statkevich will also apply for a meeting today.
Baranavichy newspaper “Intex-press” has informed that Mikola Statkevich’ father was not allowed to meet his son in Minsk KGB prison on June 1. Victar Statkevich is 84 years old. He arrived in Minsk solely for the purpose of meeting his son sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment in a top security colony on May 26. He was accused of organization of mass riots on December 19, 2010.
According to the former candidate’s father, he found out that his son had been transferred to the detention centre in Valadarski Street. Victar Statkevich is going to head there today in order to meet his son.
