Snow removal community work day in Minsk
District Administrations and Minsk City Executive Committee will organize a community work day this Tuesday.
Despite all the measures taken to clean the city after the cyclone Xavier, the city authorities still need help, Mayor Mikalai Ladutska said. Snowfalls and heavy frosts are expected this week too. That is why it is essential to remove snow from bus stops, yards, entrances, streets and roads as soon as possible.
"A community work day is required for the city infrastructure to function," BelTA reports quoting Ladutska.
Employees of enterprises, state institutions, civil organizations and the youth will be involved in the work on March 19.
