Sentences to Square participants to be pronounced today
Sentences will be pronounced on May 20 at 16.00 in the Frunze and Lenin district courts of Minsk.
The Frunze district court of Minsk will pronounce sentences to Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, Vital Rymasheuski, Andrej Dzmitryeu, Aliaksandr Fiaduta, Nasta Palazhanka and Siarhej Vazniak. They are accused of organization and preparation of actions which severely violate public order, or active participation thereof.
The prosecutor demands 3 years of imprisonment for Nyaklyaeu with suspension of sentence, 3 years of conditional imprisonment for Dzmitryeu, 2 years of conditional imprisonment for Rymasheuski, Fiaduta and Vazniak, 1,5 years of conditional imprisonment for Palazhanka. The sentences will be pronounced at 16.00 on May 20.
The Lenin district court of Minsk will pronounce sentences to Mikalaj Statkevich, Dzmitry Us, Andrej Pazniak, Aliaksandr Klaskouski, Aliaksandr Kviatkevich, Artsiom Hrybkou, Dzmitry Bulanau. The prosecutor demands 8 years of imprisonment in a reinforced-security colony for Statkevich, 7 - for Us, 8,5 - for Klaskouski, 4 - for Pazniak, Kviatkevich and Bulanau, and 4 years of imprisonment combined with forcible treatment of alcoholic addiction for Hrybkou.
