Police return technical equipment to Radio Racyja
The policemen kept the equipment for the whole month "for checking". However, they informed nothing about the results of this checking to the journalists.
According to the information provided by the press-center of the Belarusian Association of Journalists, the police called journalist of the Radio Racyja Henadz Barbarych with an offer to return a laptop and a system unit, on Monday, June 4. This equipment had been confiscated for checking on May 2.
Let us remind you, on May 2 (before the May 9 festive parade), district police officers visited the radio station's office in the Victory Square area. When they saw the radio's symbols and equipment, they called their colleagues from the Central district police department for further investigation. After inspection of the office had been completed they took the decision to confiscate the technical equipment.
