Police power abuse: criminal case started
Minsk City Department of the Investigation Committee is investigating a fact of power abuse in Lenin District Department of the Interior.
"A criminal case has been started in connection with a Minsk security guard's complaint," human rights website "Platform" reports.
Vasil Sarochyk complained in November that he had been tortured for 6 hours in Lenin District Department of the Interior. The Public Prosecutor's Office checked whether policemen had really beaten the car park guard.
