PACE to discuss Belarusian election at session in Strasbourg

The Russian newspaper "Commersant" informs with a reference to a source in the Russian delegation in PACE, the official Moscow is going to formulate its position with regard to the Belarusian election as follows: there were violations during the election in Belarus, the opposition members were oppressed, but the legitimacy of voting is the fact which cannot be doubted. 

At the same time, Europe and the US do not recognise the voting results and intend to punish Minsk with strict sanctions, reports  “Narodnaya Volya”.
