Minsk fountains infected with bacteria dangerous for humans
However, sanitary services do not check the water in the fountains.
An abnormal heat has established in
Belarus for the last several weeks. Many Minskers get into the fountains in
order to cool down a bit, although this procedure is illegal. Besides, the
100-300 thousand Belarusian roubles fine is not the worst thing which may
happen, writes the portal TUT.BY.
The journalists
took the sample of the water from the fountain located in the Independence
Square in Minsk. The sanitary stations informed that no one analyzes such
water, only two kinds of water may be analyzed - drinking water and the water
from reservoirs. The fountain water does not belong to any of these categories.
The journalists had
to say that had taken this water in a swimming pool in order to have it
checked. The sanitary station revealed enteral bacteria which are dangerous for
human lives, in this water. Moreover, their concentration surpasses all
accepted norms by several dozen times.
