Minsk city court declines Vasil Parfiankou's appeal
The defense asked to abolish the previous sentence of the Frunze district court and to terminate the case.

Vasil Parfiankou did not attend the trial personally, the lawyer Ihar Papkouski presented his interests. He turned the court's attention that the conclusions made by the judge Volha Komar were incorrect, as no corpus delicti of mass disturbances had been proved before the court, the human rights center "Viasna" informs.
Parfinakou's lawyer said today that glass-breaking had been accompanied by the cries "Don't!", which meant disagreement with such actions, - the international control committee informs.
The public prosecutor argued that Parfiankou's guilt had been fully proved by the case materials, and that the accused had given testimony that he had hit the fence and joined the crowd.
After this the collegium left to take a decision.
Let us remind you, Vasil Parfiankou was sentenced to 4 years in the high security correctional institution. According to the public prosecutor, the activist of Nyaklyaeu's HQ participated in mass disturbances, hit the fence of the House of Government 61 times and resisted to the police.
The former member of the presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu's nomination group Vasil Parfiankou has become the first convict among 42 suspects in the "Dec. 19 mass disturbances" criminal case.
