Lyabedzka: Ramanchuk is not meant for such campaigns

The leader of the United Civil Party, Anatol Lyabedzka, who was released from KGB detention on April 6 is still unaware of all the details of Ramanchuk’s situation. He has claimed it in an interview with BelaPAN.

According to Lyabedzka, he met Ramanchuk after his release but has not found out all the details yet. “Yaraslau said that if he had not done so, it would have led to physical violence directed against me and other people. I do not know what I would have done in such a situation”, - said the UCP leader.

"I have an impression that many people think that Ramanchuk’s case is the biggest problem in the country but it is not true, – stressed Lyabedzka. – Yaraslau Ramanchuk is one of the people whose behaviour is questionable. On the other hand, he took the responsibility for it all like a sponge in that situation”.

"Yaraslau Ramanchuk is not meant for such campaigns in Belarus and I understand it now. I am also to blame for not expecting the aftermath”, - added Lyabedzka.

He stressed that his goal was “remaking his current team”. “I have to understand who is who in this team”, - said the party leader.
