Lukashenka feels pity for lesbians, but does not accept gays
The Belarusian leader expressed his opinion on gay marriages in an interview to the Independent.
The screen version of the interview was
shown by "Belarus-1" TV-channel in the evening on October 24. BelaPAN enlisted quotations of the video version.
In Alyaksandr
Lukashenka's opinion, natural relations can exist only between a man and a
woman. "They create families, the main aim of which is to give birth to
children," - the Belarus leader explained.
He said he felt
pity for lesbians. Like, it is the fault of the men who appeared non-capable
and the women were forced to look for women. "I feel pity for those
lesbians. This is bad, but I don't judge them".
As for relations
between a man and a man, Lukashenka does not accept them and thinks that such relations
are abnormal.
