Journalists detained in Hrodna
There is information about three detained journalists.
Andrzej Poczobut is in Lenin District Department of the Interior. The detained Yan Roman and cameraman Andrei Fralou are not answering their phones now.
Euroradio has managed to contact Poczobut in the police office:
Poczobut: "I am in the police office and I cannot speak”.
Hrodna journalists think that their colleagues have been detained because of an unauthorized action against the russification of the only Polish school in Hrodna. The action had to take place near Hrodna City Executive Committee at 11 a.m. It had to be organized by the unofficial Union of Poles in Belarus.
