Investigator of political prisoner's case moves to US
Mikalaj Alikhver who investigated the first criminal case of Mikalaj Autukhovich in 2003-2005 surfaces in the United States
The Chief Investigator of the Financial Investigation Department of the Hrodna regional branch of the State Control Committee published his U.S. photos at his personal page in the Odnoklassniki.ru social network, reported the website Charter'97 refering to film director Volha Mikalajchyk. Alikhver's page in the social network was deleted right after this information had been leaked to news media.
According to some that is yet to be confirmed Alikhver won the U.S. Green Card. Now the
35-year-old former investigator lives in Atlanta.
Political prisoner Mikalaj Autukhovich is in jail serving another 5 years in prison.
