Investigation Committee does not work on case of mine in Minsk-Vilnius bus
Only the Lithuanian law-enforcement agencies are investigating the case as the mine was detected at their territory.
The BelaPAN news agency has been informed in the Belarusian Investigation Committee that the Belarusian side does not participate in the investigation.
Let us remind you, an anti-tank mine was found in the Minsk-Vilnius passenger bus on April 14. The bus arrived to Vilnius at about 10 a.m. A bag with the mine was put into the bus' luggage locker in Minsk, and someone was supposed to take it in Vilnius. When a youngster arrived to the bus station in Vilnius for the bag, the bus driver decided to take a look at what was inside the bag. The youngster saw it and ran away, and the driver called the police.
The police of Vilnius are looking for the suspect - a Belarusian citizen of approximately 25 years old by appearance.
