Hulak and Stefanovich's complaints to be considered today
Both human rights defenders are going to appeal their addition to "the travel ban list".
Let us remind you that the head of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Aleh Hulak (in the photo) was given a reference saying that he had been forbidden to leave Belarus starting from March 5 on March 13. According to the reference, he had been sued for something. However, the human right defender did not know anything about it and no court had informed him about being on "such a list". No information about any suits was provided to Alerh Hulak in the following three months either. The trial had to start in April but was postponed.
The hearing will take place in Minsk Central District Court on Monday (at 11 a.m.), informs the website spring96.org. The same court will also consider a similar complaint lodged by human rights activist Valyantsin Stefanovich (at 2.30 p.m. today).
