General Director of International Atomic Energy Agency arrives to Belarus
Yukiya Amano arrives to our country with a working visit on April 2-3.
According to RIA Novosti, Amano has planned meetings in the Belarusian government, and in the Ministries of Emergency Situations and Foreign Affairs. The visit is taking place right before another anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy.
It is planned that the General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency will visit the institute of advanced training of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the IAEA's courses on operative reaction to nuclear and radioactive accidents.
The program of the visit also includes visiting of the recreation and rehabilitation center for children "Zhdanovichy". Children from the regions which suffered from the Chernobyl disaster come there.
