Event dedicated to Branislau Tarashkevich takes place in Homel (photo)
The author of the first Belarusian language textbook "Belarusian grammar for schools" turned 120 today.
The event took place in the City Slavic Library in Homel. Scientist and teacher Zmitser Paulavets told the audience about the Belarusian classic orthography (the so-called "tarashkevitsa"). He also spoke about the difficult life of Branislau Tarashkevich.
