"Chernobyl Way" organizational committee to make plan of action today
The committee will gather at 5 p.m. This has been informed to Euroradio by its member Dzianis Sadouski.
Let us remind you, organizational committee's members met with the officials in Minsk city executive committee. The applicants were not allowed to gather near the building of the Academy of Sciences and then conduct a rally to the Chernobyl Chapel. The officials decided that this place was too close to the metro station.
Thus, the officials did not allowed a rally on the anniversary of Chernobyl tragedy. They only allowed a demonstration in the Bangalore Square from 6 till 8 p.m. Sadouski is convinced it was a politically motivated decision.
Sadouski: "There will definitely be some action, and the organizational committee will decide on the format".
