Cartoon on a Belarusian's script becomes a hit on Youtube (video)
The cartoon "Dreamcity" in both Russian and Ukrainian versions has been watched by more than 420 000 people for 4 months on Youtube.
The cartoon is a fairy-tale which tells Ukrainian kids about taxes and their importance for the society. Writer from Homel Lyudmila Bahdanava wrote the script. Our countrywoman won the contest among 343 scripts. The Belarusian writer got 100 thousand hryvnias (12 500 thousand dollars) for her victory.
The "Dreamcity" was first shown on November 15, 2011 in Russian and Ukrainian. The cartoon was broadcasted on TV and demonstrated to schoolchildren in cinemas, and it was also published on YouTube for free watching.
An English version of the cartoon also appeared in the Internet this week.
