Budzimir stops hunger strike
"I did not plan a conscious suicide, and an indefinite hunger strike would surely end in this without solidarity actions in support of its demands".
"Today, on the jubilee 20th day of the hunger strike, I took the decision to stop it, although my demands were not fulfilled even partly, I got no "positive signals" from the authorities, and the civil and political situation got close to nothing for this time", - Dzmitry Halko (nicknamed "Budzimir" in the internet) wrote this in his blog this morning.
Let us remind you, Dzmitry started a hunger strike on March 30 in solidarity with the political prisoner Mikita Likhavid. He demanded to abolish the sentence for Likhavid - 3,5 years of imprisonment in a high security correctional colony.
