“Blacklisted” journalists dispute their status in European Court
Vadzim Hihin and Alyaksei Mihalchanka have sent an appeal to the European Court in Strasbourg in connection with their presence on the list of people forbidden
to enter the EU member states.
The first channel of the Belarusian television informed about it on Sunday evening.
"My colleagues and I have sent an appeal to the international court because we do not feel guilty”, - said the editor-in-chief of the official magazine “Belarusian Thought” Vadzim Hihin.

The Belarusian television also announced that the Belarusian journalists forbidden to enter the EU had already addressed the OSCE in connection with the issue. They received a reply that Belarusian journalists’ travel problems “were outside the organization’s competence”, informs RIA Novosti.
Let us remind you that the EU imposed visa sanctions on Belarusian officials and journalists in response to the violations during the election and mass detentions of opposition members during the action in Independence Square on December 19.
