Bicycle ride on anniversary of "Disgraceful referendum" in Salihorsk
The action is prepared by the local "Young Front" activists.
The action is planned to take place in the second half of May and is aimed to coincide with the May 14, 1995 referendum, informs the web-site of the human rights center "Vyasna". Let us remind you, the Belarusian national symbols lost the state status after that referendum, and the Belarusian language was no longer the only state language.
The "Young Front" activists organize this bicycle ride in order to declare their protest against the results of the referendum-1995 and to turn the Salihorsk inhabitants' attention to this problem. All participants of the action will have the white-red-white symbols on them.
