"Belarus Press Photo" exhibition opens in Warsaw (photo)
"Belarus Press Photo-2012" photo exhibition started its work in Warsaw on November 19.
The
exhibition is located in the very center of Warsaw, in the Collegium Civitas,
on the 12th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science.
The photos have already been exhibited in Brno (Czech Republic) and Krakow (Poland).
The laureates' works are presented in eight categories: news, people in the
news, portrait, sports, daily life, people's traditions, nature, art and fun.
About 50 people came to see the works of the best Belarusian photographers on
the opening night. The exhibition will work till November 27.
"Belarus Press Photo" is a contest of photographers who work in the
media. It was founded back in 2009 by Belarusian reporters and is held
annually. Employees of both state and independent media take part in the
contest.
