Belarus does not extradite a person close to Yanukovich, to Ukraine

He is also accused of organization of a criminal group. This has been informed by "Commersant-Ukraine" with a reference to the information provided by Deputy General Prosecutor of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin.

The Belarusian public prosecution claims that extradition of Barulka may cause damage to the country's sovereignty or security.

However, representatives of Ukrainian General Prosecution visited Barulka in the KGB detention center in Belarus. According to non-official information, Barulka was released soon after that.

Ukrainian media inform that Barulka is married to the relative of former General Prosecutor Alyaksandr Myadzvedzka. Barulka also worked as an assistant of PM Yanukovich.
