April 26 - 25th anniversary of Chernobyl tragedy
A mournful demonstration will take place at 18.00 on April 26 in Bangalore Square in Minsk. This is the only format of the action allowed by city authorities.
"Chernobyl Way" is supposed to take place today in the form of a mournful demonstration in the "Druzhby Narodau" park in Minsk.
The key motto of the action will be a demand to the authorities to stop construction of a new NPP near Astravets. Apart from this, participants of the action will demand freedom for Belarusian political prisoners. The demonstration will start with a minute of silence to commemorate the victims of Minsk terrorist act on April 11.
