Anton Surapin's university fellows and relatives raise money to pay for law
The student of the Faculty of Journalism has been jailed by KGB for "the Swedish teddy bear case" since July 13.
According to the monitor of the group Surapin studies in, Anton's parents are ordinary people from a small town. The lawyer costs 800 thousand a day and they do not have the money.
Surapin's group mate raising money says that nobody doubts Anton's innocence. People are donating different sums - from 5 to 150 thousands. Group mates, relatives and friends are trying to help Surapin's parents, informs Radio "Liberty".
Let us remind you that Anton Surapin was one of the first people to have published "teddy bear photos" (on his website - bnp.by). KGB searched Surapin's flat before the detention. The fact that the guy is suspected of assisting in a case of illegal crossing of the border became known on July 16. His term of detention was prolonged to 10 days.
