Andrei Sannikau’s mother meets him in prison
Ala Sannikava has met her son in detention centre #1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Valadarski Street in Minsk.
According to BelaPAN, Andrei Sannikau’s health condition is stable and he feels better in the MIA detention centre than in KGB prison. According to his mother, the politician had to be transferred to Zhodzina detention centre and has been left in Minsk.
Nevertheless, the former presidential candidate does not receive the newspapers he has subscribed for – he did not receive them in KGB prison either. However, there is a TV-set in the prison cell.
According to his mother, Sannikau “does not expect anything good” from his appeal. Let us remind you that the politician was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in a top security colony for the action of December 19, 2010.
