Alyaksei Yanukevіch: Authorities have not contacted us yet
The BPF Party has organized around-the clock duties in its office in Masherau Street, 8.
The first night duty has been organized in Minsk BPF office. Let us remind you that Soviet District House and Communal Services department has refused to prolong the lease contract and the party is about to be evicted. That is why a “protection” campaign has been launched and around-the clock duties have been introduced.
The party leaders – Alyaksei Yanukevich, Ihar Lyalkau and Uladzimir Labkovich were on duty in the office last night.
"Everything was quiet at night, - says Alyaksei Yanukevich. – We received a lot of phone calls even at night. People supported us and asked if we needed assistance”.
Yanukevіch says that the around-the clock duties will continue. He expects that “the society’s internal pressure expressed in letters sent to Ladutska, head of Minsk Executive Committee, will stop the illegal eviction of the party”. The BPF Party is also hoping to get international support.
By the way, Soviet District Housing and Communal Services Department has not wondered whether the party is going to leave the office yet.
