Alcohol prices increase rumours amid frenzy
Hundreds dash to alcohol-selling departments of Minsk stores on Wednesday night, with some compatriots buying out vodka in crates.
The reason for that was the message that
the selling prices for alcoholic beverages and ethylene will rise by 1,5 times
since October 25.
Thus, 0,5 l of
Belarusian vodka will be about Br 30 thousand. As for imported alcohol, the
price for it will increase by even more. The minimum price for imported 40%
alcoholic beverages will be Br 45 thousand.
This is the second
increase of prices for alcohol production this year.
