Activist of Uruchcha defense detained in Minsk
Leanid Mazhayski and his wife are in the Pershamayski district police department now.
In the morning on July 5, inhabitants of
Uruchcha micro-district started resisting against the builders who installed
the fence and other equipment. According to the information provided by Radio
Liberty, the police arrived at the incident site. They
detained Leanid Mazhayski and his wife and delivered them to the police
department.
On July 4, the
builders started installing the fence around the building site in the green
zone of Uruchcha micro-district. They will build a residential house for riot
policemen there. The officials approved this project despite the position of
the local inhabitants.
